TECHNIQUE: The pinkish textured paper was originally cream colored, but using Fiber Scraps TintZ ink in Rose, I was able to achieve the color I was looking for easily by rubbing the dauber bottle over my paper until I acheived the look I was going for. The edges of my paper were also inked using a paint brush. The title "Butterfly Kisses" was created by printing font on to card stock. Then I heat-embossed the lettering with silver powder to give a metal effect. My last step was to stipple Fiber Scraps Moss TintZ ink over title to give a petina effect. I then heated the Tintz ink with my heat gun to adhere the ink to my lettering. My journaling was printed on to a transparency. The photo beneath is the moment my journaling talks about I wanted to give my cheeks a "blushing-effect," so I lightly brushed pink chalk over my cheeks. (the scan doesn't do this justice)
