Here is my submission for Challenge #5 of the Amazing Digiscrapping Race. This is a journaling challenge and I chose to use some of my Dad's wit and wisdom that he has passed along to me in my lifetime.
I used Cindy Irvine's gorgeous "Faded Dogwood" kit available at Natural Designs in Scrapbooking (NDISB). Note is scanned right from my autograph book from when I was thirteen with my Dad's handwriting on it. Font used is "Hockey is Life".
Journaling reads: "In my 36 years on this planet, my Dad has imparted many words of wit and wisdom to me. But this one I did some serious digging to find. This is a scan of my autograph book from when I was thirteen years old. My Dad signed it with this poem. I don’t know the origin of it and that doesn’t matter to me. I think I have gained my positive outlook on life and my eternal optimism from my Dad and it’s things like this that have helped me maintain a happy life. Thanks Dad!"
