This photo was taken Feb. 8, on my oldest son's 23rd birthday. When I saw the picture, all the memories of him as a little boy rushed through my mind. I will always see him as my little boy!
The journaling reads: Eric, even though you're 23 years old I still see you as our cute, adorable, mischieveous little boy. I remember bringing you home from the hospital wondering how I would ever know how to take care of you! Then, the next thing I knew you were going off to school! I remember your "Garfield" covers, then you moved up to dinosaurs, and your "Teddy Ruxpen" bear that was your best friend. I see your big brown eyes and beautiful smile. I remember things like your first field trip at schook, your first trip away from home and the day that you moved out to start on your own. That day tore my heart out. But I know that you have to grow and become your own person. My hopes and dreams for you have never changed, I still hope that you find love, happiness and that all of your dreams come true. But no matter how old you get, I will always see by beautiful little boy! I love you. Mom
