This is for MyNitza's SH Member Hosted Challenge which was to complete a lo inspired by Pencillines Sketch #41. The "prisoner's patch" number is actually the date of our visit. The handcuffs were traced from an internet printout. The bradon the clock is from MyNitza's birthday stash. (Thank you, dahling!) There is also a small info sheet tucked underneath the picture of my schrubby hamming it up with a souvenir cup. Journaling is written on transparency sheets. Once I get a transparency marker, I will redo the writing to make it neater. Top journaling reads: We took an audio tour of Alcatraz that featured the voices of former inmates, correctional officers, and residents reminiscing about life on the island. It was very entertaining and informative. Although it was a beautiful summer afternoon in the city, everything was so much colder on the prison grounds. That didn't keep us from having a great time and you made for such a silly JAILBIRD! Bottom journaling reads: On the morning of June 12, 1962, guards discovered dummy heads in the bunks of 3 inmates, Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin. The men were never found and their intricate plan was later made famous by Clint Eastwood inthe movie, "Escape from Alcatraz".
