I can still hear your little excited voice now … “Jason!” you would call out as soon as you saw your friend. Running towards him with open arms, you would anxiously await your morning hug. The two of you captured the hearts of everyone with your adorable expressions and very polite manner. Jason was always pushing you on a ride-on car and in strollers and letting you go first through doorways. At snack time, you would never take a chair until you gave Jason a chair first. You would give him your snacks just because he was your best friend.
You and Jason were inseparable. From swimming lessons and trips to the amusement park, to just playing around. Together, you two did it all.
Boy was I blessed to have Jason’s Mom Christa there to guide you through the day as I worked just down the hall in the office at the YMCA.
You really were good together. If blessed are those who love and cherish one another, then blessed you were in this wonderful friendship.
