I love the heritage look - I have no idea where to begin with my own. I'm also so impressed by her actions and dedication it took to get where she did back then - what a wonderful role model. Where did she go to college? Was it a woman's college?
It could have been Lucy Elma Beatty that wrote that quote, because she thoroughly represents it. No other woman that I know of could make anyone cringe twenty years after her passing the way Grandmother does! Why? Because she was a fiery, not very well behaved woman! But I have nothing but respect for her. Besides giving life to eight people (so far), she demonstrated in many ways that she expected everything that the world had to offer-- something that every woman should be doing even today. Here she is, in 1920, graduating from college—the same year women were granted the right to vote!
This was my first heritage lo... it was so much fun to do! TFL! :)
