My golly this is gorgeous! The story behind it broguht tears to my eyes. I only have 1 pic of my late father in law with my daughter and I too cut it up when I put it in the photo album in the 90's. I think that's my next project.... to get that pic into a respectable LO!

A very special little photo

this photo is so special to me but I cut it up to fit inside a small heart frame, not having any negative, no copies, nothing as a back up...I tell you, before scrapping I just didn't think about that stuff. My uncle died soon after this photo was taken and now it's the only one I have of him and my daughter. At least now it's safe inside an album. TFL!

Yes, one very special little photo. I can’t believe that I cut this photo up and put it in a heart shaped frame. What was I thinking? I know what I wasn’t thinking at the time. I wasn’t thinking that my Uncle Dave, my Godfather would die. I wasn’t thinking that this would be the only time he would ever hold you. I wasn’t thinking that I would never see him again. I guess you can’t think that way though, but knowing what I know now about life, memories and little photos, I would never take a photo that I only have one of and cut it up, bend it, and stick it in a small heart shaped frame. Here the photo will remain as safe as possible, as will the memory.
