8x8 page for NICU mini album. The circle is a photo of the sign that was posted on the main entrance to the NICU nursery. It reads: "shhhh. . .you are entering the Quiet Zone. Our tiny patients need quiet to sleep for their optimum growth and development. Family Hours are 24 hours a day except between 6:30 am to 8:00 am and 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm." The picture is my dad seeing Caleb for the first time. He was told by a nurse that preemies don't like to be patted or stroked, they just can tolerate very gentle pressure, so he was being so sweet and careful and would just barely lay one fingertip on Caleb's back.
