I wanted to do an lo with all the pics of family holding my daughter when she was a newborn. I hope I didn't clutter it up too much with putting the labels on the pics. I thought it would be neat since it will go in her baby book. I used the frayed fabric action on the blocks (and edges of pics) and I was THRILLED with the results. The big version looks way cooler since it added lots of texture. Don't know if you can tell on this one but the print around the edges looks like stitching.
Verse around edges comes from a picture I have on the wall. It reads: Familes are like quilts - lives pieced together, stitched with smiles and tears, colored with memories and bound by love.
