Journaling: My Flowers

We bought the house in February 1978. We had lots of snow that year. The house had been sitting empty when we first saw it. When the snow had finally melted, long after we had moved in, we were very surprised to find that there wasn’t a drive way all the way back to the garage!!

By May, the backyard and what should have been the drive way, was full of dandelions!! You called them “My Flowers”!! You picked some every time you went outside. Mommy always had a vase of “My Flowers”!! May 1978
