This is a page I made and entered in the March 2004 Bazzil contest. The page captures a visit I made to the site of a Holocaust concentration camp in Germany. I am so proud of this page because I think it captures a lot of the intense and varied emotions from the place, I like the photography a lot, and I think it was a perfect theme for monochromatic Bazzil. I think the alternative journaling style is really neat, and I'm also really pleased with the accents on the right hand page - I used the leftover strips of photo as embellishments in and of themselves, and I attached everything with copper staples, echoing both the barbed wire around the site in the first photo and the crown of thorns at the top of the chapel/memorial. I hope you give this LO a second chance!!

here's a link to the original upload so you can read the description there, too: http://www.scrapbook.com/scrapbook_layouts/showphoto.php/photo/22453/password/0/sort/1/page/6

thanks!
Julie
