Journaling reads: "Our tree was decorated thanks to a bit of Christmas magic. Dad had to travel to a conference the week after we came home, and I didn't think the tree would go up until the week before Christmas. But then our miracle arrived: Snow! In Texas! Enough for a snow day! So down from the attic came all of our decorations. Dad assembled the tree and I was supervised the hanging of the ornaments. Molly had a grand time placing each ornament on the tree. She even spaced them out evenly! Bridget laughed and then napped and then laughed some more. Is it just me, or does this get better every year?"
