This page is a closer view of the beautiful dress my Grani made for me. My mom made my veil. Under the word "Beautiful", you can't quite make out that I have handwritten the word "handmade" in silver. You can see some of the intricate lace on the front of the skirt. This dress is exquisite!
Oh, this is taken before the wedding (literally minutes beforehand). I am surrounded by bridesmaids, friends and my Mom and Grani...they are all pinning me into the dress. It was just a big project and didn't quite get all the finishing touches. :) BUT, that takes nothing away from the fact that my one-of-a-kind dress was made by my Gran. TFL!
