I just did this LO tonight!! I bought a kit from the LSS next to my house (not the one I DT for). The kit is for a monthly contest they do where you have to use EVERYTHING in the kit. The only things you cna add are ink or paint for distressing and you can sand the paper. So everything I used on this page is from the kit (except the paint and the ink from a pen for journaling). There were all kinds of these blue frames using the QK Cookie Cutter square frames--it was a REAL challenge trying to use those all on a ONE PAGER!

I cut the title from the Silhouette on the berry pp and then used it as a mask to paint the title onto the green cardstock. I cut that out and cut off the mask part of the berry pp and tossed it. I used paint to create journaling areas around the pics (a tip I learned from Candace McLean). I also used the paint for some light distressing. We were given a chipbaord key so I painted it and cut it apart, using the elements in the upper right of the page. I cut the one flower we were given in half to create two accents. I painted silver brads blue to look like berries.

I hope this LO does well. Last month I won third place with my "My Boy" layout so I hope to place again this month! You can check out my LO at:
