This is for the scrappack challenge by Lila! I used NON traditional colors for this Christmas LO. I did that to match the dress that dd is wearing and her PJs in the christmas pics. The dress in the main photo is her Christmas present from her Daddy from Korea (along with a pearl inlay mirror). The pic on the bottom corner is her talking to daddy on the phone Christmas Morning and the poor tree.

Pack items:
Yellow Hugz: Around the A & T.. I painted them pink
Silver Studs: Used on the fake "hinges"... Also painted them pink
Green string of Beads: On my tag and on the side of the large picture
Twill tape: Frayed & cut and used on the green beads by the lg. pic
Puzzle pieces: 2 corners of lg. pic and 1 on the pic in the corner and 1 by house.. I painted them red & pink to match
Hook & eye: At the top of the photos in the corner.. "connects" the two, with one piece on each picture.
Plastic Round ring: Used to highlight top of the Christmas Tree.. Painted pink
Green Squares: OUR
Fabric: painted pink behind large photo.
Silver Paper: To make Hinges, altered.
Tag: Cut and altered to make my PIECES tag
Non Pack items:
PP: Doodlebug (X-mas Candy & Holly Jolly Dotted Line) & KI Memories (Spotlights)
CS: Bazill
I used various stamps and paint.

The journaling is under the large photo, which has paper "hinges" so that it opens.

The journaling reads:

This year, we were missing many of the “pieces” that make it Christmas at our house. It started with the Christmas Tree. We had no one to untangle the lights, so my solution: Go buy new ones! We had no one to find and put on the tree topper, so we didn’t have one this year. I had no one to talk me out of getting absurd presents that were not needed, like little dogs, so they were gotten. I had no one to “help” wrap presents in that goofy, crooked way, so it took me longer and was not nearly as fun. I had no one to stay up late with me to stuff stockings, wrap more presents, put out presents, and eat cookies, so I did it myself. I had no one to say “Merry Christmas” to as the lights went out after midnight, so I cried in my pillow. I had no one to smile at from across the room as presents were opened, so my heart ached. This was our first time being without Jereme and I could feel all day that a piece of Christmas was missing from our house.

Thanks for looking!
