My mom and I took a trip to London together my senior year. It was a lot of fun and some serious girl time. Instead of playing up the "England" aspect, I decided to focus on the good times we had together.
Journaling on left page reads:
Moms' favorite memory:
We got to Les Mis after the show had started, but we still went into the box office to see if they had any tickets. When we found out they had one, Alison asked if she could sit on my lap. Then they found another seat. They gave them to us for $10 each--good seats too--and I really think we got them because Alixon was so sweet and cute. The show was SO good!
Right page journaling:
Our trip to London in April 2004 was so much fun! We had major mother-daughter bonding time.
In London, we stayed in Kensington, and saw Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The Victoria & Albert Museum, Hyde Park, and Westminister Abbey. We flirted our way into seeing Les Mis for $10, and we also saw Bollywood-style Bombay Dreams. We tried to eat some pretty gross fish & chips and discovered the deliciousness of peaches with plain yogurt.
We also got to see a bit of England: We visited Stonehenge, Oxford, Statfort-upon-Avon, the Cotswalds, Burghley House, Stamford and Bath.
I will always remember this wonderul trip we took together and I hope we can go back again someday!
