This WAS a tough challenge! I played around with the colors a lot, but I finally ended up altering most of the embellishments. I painted the puzzle pieces, the beads, and the square eyelets white, and then I added a bronze metallic rub on. I ended up covering the 3 green squares with a patterned paper. I tried my hardest to make them work as is, but the colors clashed! I separated the hook thing, and put one part of it on the square at the bottom, and I put the other one over the tag on the top. I'll be interested to see how others use those items, because they stumped me! I stained the burlap, the string from the tag, and the twill with walnut ink. I took the string off the tag and used it on the puzzle pieces and the top of the round tag. I made the round tag with the silver paper - I just used my CM punch to make a ring. I notice when I photographed my LO that the ring is covering up part of my journaling on the tag. I might take another photo of it later. I wrote the date on the tag. I made my letters with my GAW sizzlit font. I THINK that pretty much covers everything! These photos were taken in Playa del Carmen on our cruise in January.
