Wow! This is beautiful! I love the ribbon lacing!! And the shape of the layered pieces! You probably cut them that way and they are fabulous!! Lovely work! Great photo too!!
OMGosh, this is so cool! At first glance, I thought it was "My" family...same year! LOL! I love the scalloped papers, and how you made it look like a card tucked inside! Awesome colors and stamping! Love it!!!
You are so creative with your layouts.. I just love the way you created this pocket and stamping behind it.. I am going to have to use this idea for a layout I am working on for a baby book.
What a great photo and quote! I love the colors of the LO - very Florida - although I'm not sure where the photo was taken, but know you spend your time there now. The ribbons really add some texture and contrast and I like how you cut the border of your paper and overlapped it. Great job Susan.
Oh, those dresses look soooo familiar, and dig those cool glasses on the guys!!!!! Yes, this was the era when I grew up. Cool LO - love the colors you chose.
Weren't we just a "dorky" looking crew!!! LOL! Great layout! Love the colors you chose to go with it - very pretty! Did you cut the big square by hand? Awesome doodling and stamping! Love the flower, too! The little ribbon ties are very cute!
Love what you have done with the stamps and the use of the bracket stamp to cut around for the border is a stroke of genius. The color of the ribbon is a nice counterpoint to the blue background paper. Love the pp and the pocket (for journaling?) Very nicely done!!!
WOW is right, Susan, love that pic!! the flower and ribbons, the colors. the cut of the page, awesome girl!!! I didn't know that you and Zookeeper were related, thanks for sharing that :)
Love every LO of yours that I've seen so far (have put quite a few in my Favorites)...you are so talented!! Really inspires me to finish my grandfathers album...now if I only had more time each day!!
Yep! 1966...we were the typical American family....well not so typical....most of my friends only had 2 children in their family....there were 5 children in our family! That made us a little unusual. But at least we always had someone to blame things on!!! LOL Oh, ....the cute little girl on the front (the baby of the family) that would be my sister, Betty (kzookeeper)...and I am the sour-faced cutie on the left!!! Now I KNOW that we didn't have to stand still for LONNNNNNG periods of time like they did in the "old" days....so WHAT's with MY face????!!!! LOL Gotta love those old family photos!! The sticker says it all.....Other things may change us, but we START and END with FAMILY! (Anthony Brandt)
