This card was done for a priate challenge for a small forum group on this site. The challenge theme was favourite ice cream or sherbert colours. The challenge was to:
1. Use at least three patterned papers;
2. Use a circle;
3. Use at least two round embellishments;
4. Use one picture;
5. Do some journalling; and
6. Twist: Hand-make one embellishment.
The journalling is inside the front cover of the card, which reads: "FRONT COVER ARTWORK: The design on the front cover of this card consists of a photo of the centrepiece from Carla’s bridal shower, which I won in a game. Nelson and I thought it
would be a fitting picture for the cover of this handmade wedding card. Enjoy!"
I handmade the butterfly by stamping it onto green paper, cutting it out, bending it to raise its wings, and adding a rhinestone for the head and a bugle bead for the body.
