For Daria's Christmas in July challenge. In the spirit of last week's Thinking Inking class, I used crystal lacquer over the Santa portion of the rub-on and Antique linen distress stickles over the frame portion. The manger scene rub-on was done with icicle stickles over the manger and antique linen over the frame and the angels used crystal lacquer and antique linen. All rub-ons were applied to white CS, then shirt-box cardboard, then glittered and edged with a gold Krylon pen. Mounted with foam mounting tape to a Bazzill 5 7/8inch scalloped square note card. Daisy D's rub-ons. After the fact, I like the crystal lacquered versions better. I thought the icicle stickles would be clearer. They are kind of irridescent. Pretty, but kind of in their face! The Holly stamp says Comotion 1982!! I think it is one of the first stamps I ever bought! It is stamped on the background CS with Versamark Dazzle in champagne. “Believe” says it is Retro Lunchbox? I think it was $1 variety. This is not a foldover card, so I stamped the back of the flat card with a PSX (1999) sentiment embossed in gold and highlighted the stars with white gel pen. TFL!
