I absolutely love this card for so many reasons! Your rooster looks magnificent!!! I love the way you stamped him! And everything about your card is gorgeous.
For the NSD Use Your Stamps Challenge: I used three colours of ink on the stamped image of the chicken; the background white paper was stamped in grey, with the chicken overlaid; and the Chinese sentiment stamp was stamped and heat embossed.
The really nice thing about card making and paper crafting is that you can provide a little bit of yourself in the details of the project/gift. In this case, not only do I like Chinese (and Japanese) culture and have numerous items in my house in this style, but we also live in an area surrounded by farmland and barns, where we hear a rooster crowing several times a day! (Additionally, cards and projects can be created that include items of interest to the recipients, tailor made!).
THANK YOU TO "CHARCATS" FOR POSTING THIS CHALLENGE AND TO ALL WHO CHOOSE TO COMMENT ON THIS CARD!
