Wow! Sharon that is an amazing technique and the effect is fabulous! Who would have thought tissue paper could be put to such creative use! Love it and your use of the doll - brilliant. Love that you turned it over because the colour was softer. Great job!
Oh My.......sounds rather complicated to me....but then...much of life is complicated these days...LOL I love this and I love that you always come up with new ways to do things. You are a true artist. I am just a craft person who needs to color inside the lines. ROFL This is truly a wonder to me and looks charming. Good job.
Sharon, you are so very creative! i, TOO, love the way you try new things. I am always afraid to try anything new ! The sunshine is great and so is the JN doll!
Made for the Julie Nutting challenge using a technique I recently found on Pintrest - using bathroom tissue to make a wet paper mold from the stamp sets. I should have used more layers of tissue paper for a thicker end product but a double layer worked well enough. I "molded" the wet paper into the stamp using a stiff bristle brush then very carefully removed the paper to dry. I colored with Copic markers then ended up using the back side of the image as I liked the slightly softened effect of the color with the raised edges out!
I manipulated the stitched rectangle dies to get the size I wanted for the sentiment.
