Sharing a card I made for one of my sweet sis-in-law's mother that I've known for many years. They are giving her a 90th birthday party next weekend so I need to get it off in the mail ASAP! Her favorite color is green...all shades. At first, I didn't think I had any pretty green papers until I ran across my old Mariposa stack and found a pretty and soft green paper I could use for the background. I ran it through my Darice Damask embossing folder and sanded down the edges. Then, going through my beautiful Stamperia Lilac Flowers collection, I found this 4x6 tag already printed with the birthday verse and it matched the background paper so well, I decided to use it. I dressed it up a bit with some Ranger Verdigris embossing powder on the splats, Crystal Stickles on the flower centers, used lovely roses trim from our friend Donna (bonprof), added a floral spray from Tim Holtz Botanical layers at the top, and then topped it off with a beautiful butterfly from Reneabouquets! The card base is Colorbok's Ombre. Oh yes, I got these AC Heidi Swapp letters from HL on clearance for about $.50! It was the last one left and I figured I could use them for something!
