Entered into Aprils Horders Challenge. This card started out to be a kite card for one of the other challenges on this site...lol I dug deep enough to find some OLDER stash and these images being only part of some kind of kit (a junk store find) has worn out its welcome! I stamped and powder embossed the sentiment and I applied some Wink of Stella to the mermaid. Its hard to see but its there. I hand punched a couple corners. The fish image had some unwanted stuff that I had to cut off(obviously there were pieces missing from this group of images). The fish then became a foreground piece. It had similar colors as the background so I had to add some color for definition. I added brown to the sea weed and I tried to lightly blend some purple onto the fish...aaak...well, at least it has plenty of definition now. I applied Wink of Stella to the fish. Its hard to see but its there. I used to have a pkg of 3D snowflakes, the flakes have been gone for a few years and all that remained was the 3D foam that was around the flakes. I knew I could use the foam on the back of pieces like this one. Well, I finally used it up and threw away the pkg! YEAHH! The sentiment and the two turtles, front and back on the envelope, are from a set of stamps and dies I recently got from Michaels. Why didnt the set come with a starfish? I need to do some shopping :o) I stamped and badly colored the turtles on a plain ready made envelope. Thanks muchly for all your kind comments, votes and friendly messages :o)Ro
