Give a Cheer
Mixed media card for mother's day for a family member. This was actually the first one I created and first time I played with the new distress color salvage patina. I used a old book page and glued it down on some mixed media paper with clear gesso. Then I added some watered down white gesso on top to white wash it. Next I took my brayer and added more white gesso to create a fine texture. I used a new background die to cut the white pattern and glued on top after I had done the smush technique with several distress inks and splatter of distress oxide spray to the background. The hexagons are distress embossing glaze of an aall and create stamp set, sentiments are from that set as well.
