FOr the digi challenge remember to journal I did this one:

This is my grandmother holding my baby girl the day after she was born.
My grandmother and my daughter only knew each other for ten
months. My grandmother was an amazing woman. She went to
university and studied medicine before she met my grandfather.
An amazing feat for a woman in the early twentieth century.
She married my grandfather just before the second world war.
Two of her five children were born during that war when she was
evicted from her home. She raised her children with love and saw them
settle with families of their own. She had fourteen grandchildren
whom she all loved equally and without judgement. Even so, I like to
think we had a special bond because we shared the same name.
My daughter inherited that name.
After she was born I had a difficult time. My daughter
and I went to stay with my parents a lot during those
first six months and, as my parents and my grandmother
shared the same house, with my grandmother as well.
So my grandmother got to enjoy her great gradndaughter
up close. I like to think she shared that same special bond
with my daughter as she had with me. I know she was
very proud of her. Then shortly after her eighty-second
birthday my grandmother died. It was only then I realised
that my grandmother had rarily held my daughter due to her
bad arthritis. And the occasions she had held and cuddled her
I enjoyed the moment and hadn't ever thought to take
another picture.
So this picture is just like my grandmother:
One of a kind
