Another layout for my Floral Alphabet Album. The background is my own. The Swirl and the 'O' embellishments are from some clip art I purchased. The photos were put in using Scrapbook Flair. The rest of the layout were put together in Gimp. The journaling reads:
Osteospermums a.k.a. African Daisies are one of my favorite flowers.
They come in a variety of colors from orange and yellow to pink and purple.
The specimens photographed here have been grown in my own garden.
I first discovered these colorful beauties on a trip to Tyler, TX in 2006 with
my grandparents. The son of friends of my grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Hand
owns a garden center where I purchase my first plant. The light yellow with
purple centers instantly caught my attention. Ever since then, I have searched
for all different colors of osteospermums to plant in my garden each spring.
