I was just thinking the other day that I hardly remember what life was like before kids...and that's not such a bad thing. :)

Journaling:
Before I was a mommy...
I never found checkers in the washing machine. I never stepped on sharp toys in the middle of the night. I never understood why those mothers couldn’t “control” their screaming children in the supermarket. I never found half-eaten food in my hair. I never had to clean jelly off the ceiling. I never caught vomit in my bare hands. I never used spit to clean anything…no less a person’s face. I never had to hide in the bathroom to have five minutes of peace. I never felt my heart walking around outside my body. How did I ever make it...before I was a mommy?
