A story I've been meaning to record for quite a while now. It's funny how you get used to the strange nicknames you have for your child.

Journaling:
"me" You say it 50 times a day. But you aren't referring to yourself, you're referring to your sister. Since you could talk, you've called her "Me" or "Mee Mee". For the longest time I couldn't figure out where this strange nickname came from...then it hit me. When you were little I would refer to myself in third person. Ya know, "Skyler, walk to Mommy" or "Skyler, throw Mommy the ball". But Savanna (being a normal person) would say "Skyler, walk to me" or "Skyler, throw me the ball". So I guess you just figured her name was "Me". Now, three years old and you still call her "Mee Mee". And I love it so much that I've yet to correct you. It's so funny to watch you wander the house looking for your sister calling, "Meeeeeeeee?" JUNE.05.2007
