SHCG - I'm w/ Tiff in that I was totally reminded of your "Crack Under Pressure" pg. Love this pp & this soothing, sporty periwinkle/brown scheme you're rockin, your use evokes a kind of retro cool vibe. Also love the letters in the diamonds. I agree with a couple of the comments that referred to a little emptiness on the bottom, or the need to see more of that brown again down there, but I think that could be remedied by following Tiff's suggestion of just moving the exclamation point a little lower. Perhaps, even moving the "1st" in the diamonds below the photos. Great font & how friggin cute is that file folder?? Superb scrapjack of another superb LO - wonderful page!
SHCG: I love the title and the big exclamation mark! I love the photos, too. It's great to have the motion from left to right. The colors are lovely and complement the photo colors. Great job!
SHCG: I LOVE this!!! I wouldn't change a thing!!!! I love the golf pant paper...the exclamation mark reminding me of golf so much.;.the shots...LOVE it!!
SHCG: Love this pp with this lo! Your title looks awesome, love the letters in the diamonds. I really love putting the title in that exclamation point! too cute. The file tab also goes really well with all of it. THe pictures are awesome, too.
SHCG: Love this! The pp is soooo golf!!! (I think my grandpa used to have some pants that pattern years ago when he'd golf!) I love how you worked the title into the diamonds. Cool Lo
SHCG: Another fabulous Brenda layout! Fun, fun, fun. I think that this scrapjack could be your "sleepy powers" layout, as well as, your "crack under pressure" layout. Obviously the placement is a direct jack of your sleepy powers, but the whimsy, the subject, the hilarious pictures, not to mention, the argyle is so reminscent of that layout (which happens to be a fav. My only suggestion on this page would be to move the exclamation mark down a bit and make "AARON'S 1ST" stretched out across the top. Although, I have to admit: I love the way the AARON'S fits perfectly into the argyles. So, scratch the stretching it out part. Maybe, still move the mark down and place the 1st, well pretty much where the E is. I hope this makes sense, I feel like I am rambling. I love this layout and think it is super fantabulous like it is!
SHCG: I love the patterned paper you used on this page. It seems so golf like. The pictures are also really good. I love the action shot of him jumping. The bottom of this page seems a little empty, so I was thinking...do you have anymore of this patterned paper? What if you hand cut a strip of those diamonds and popped dotted them to a strip on this page. Not sure if that made sense, but what I am trying to say is cut out a row of diamonds on another patterned piece of paper and match that row to a row on here using pop dots to make them stand up and add a little 3-d dimension to this page.
SHCG: Fabulous Scrapjack. The "eagle" exclamation point really reminds me of the golf flag and ball… trying to think of ways to incorporate the elements a little more. Like maybe making the dot of the exclamation a golf ball (it may already be one we just can't see it) Better yet get your husband to sign THE ball and put it as the dot! Do you think a close-up of him kissing the ball would be too much? Ya… you are right that may be over the top. But a close-up of THE dimpled golf ball would be fun...and we won't tell anyone if you can't find the EXACT ball.
SHCG: This is fabulous girlie! First off I am loving these photos. So fun! My favorite part is the Eagles in the Exclamation point. My only suggestion would be to add maybe another horizontal stripe accross the bottom to fill some blank space and mimic the brown matting.
This is for the SHCG Week #40 WC which was to scrapjack my Sleepy Powers lo. The chipboard file tab is courtesy of MyNitzza's birthday stash. Thank you!
