While dating, one of our common interests was photography. We have a friend who introduced us to cross-processing slide film as if it were regular film and having prints made rather than slides from it. The results are amazing! Recently, my DH came across a roll we'd shot 5 years ago that'd never been developed and had them done for me for Valentine's day. This picture was one from that roll.

Journaling (also by my sweet dh) reads:
"We're only here for a little while." Sojourn. The word brings a rush of memories to my heart as I think of our time together.
The day I met you, did you ever imagine the way things would go?
Did you know that you'd marry me?
Did you know you'd bring us two amazing sons?
Could you ever in your wildest dreams have understood what an amazing woman you'd become, not so long after you got up from this rock?
Michelle, I know one thing for sure: you make me a better man. I don't know how long we'll be here, but as long as I'm with you I'll always be home. --Drew

On the canvas belt I gave the definition for sojourn. It means to reside temporarily, or a temporary stay; a brief period of residence.
