I took these wonderful photos of Tarrah last Thursday on our first snow day of the year.

Journaling: "Picture this, it’s the first significant snow fall of the year. I call in to work and you and I have our first Snow Day together! We weren’t quite prepared though. I still hadn’t managed to get you snow boots yet and you had already lost one of your mittens. But, we weren’t going to let that stop us! I had the brilliant idea of using your play rain boots, though a little large, with lots of layers we managed, and for mittens, I thought socks would work in a pinch. You poor thing. We were outside for all of 20 minutes and your little hands were frozen. So we both learned lessons that day. You learned how cold snow can be and I learned to buy lots of extra mittens from now on."
