This is my dd at 2 who is now 17. This is a reflection on how she embraced life fully at that age and was so interesting to watch.

Journal:
A day at the park and you are busy playing, running and discovering. I am watching you and I am amazed. All seems new to you. You look at the world with your heart and only expects good from what surrounds you. Everything you do is a new experience and you don't want to miss out on anything. You are like a little sponge; you take it all in.

You pick up a stone and throw it in the river and laugh at the sound it makes. You slide down the slide and pretend to fly. You crawl in the tunnel and it becomes your castle. You climb the ladder as to touch the sky. Finally you bake me a mud pie because you love me.

Life is your playground and that looks like a whole lot of FUN to me.
