This layout is for the August Sketch Challenge and the August BOM challenge. It is my first time using foam stamps - they are the MM Misunderstood. The little envelope on the bottom contains concert tickets.
The Journaling reads:
Music is an important part of my life and always has been. As long as I can remember people have always joked about me standing in my crib and babbling to Tammy Wynette. I was in band in school and play the flute 'not well, but that,s a different story( I can remember my sister and I setting up shows in our bedroom for our parents - using hairbrush microphones and playing air instruments. For our wedding note just any music would do. I walked down the aisle to a vocal accapella of the canon instead of the wedding march. My major influences were Duran Duran 'I planned on marrying Simon Lebon(. I love Bette Middler,s song - The Rose. Billy Joel and Elton John are my favorite singular artists. I also love BB King - Bob Dylan - The Band - The Beatles - and ZZ Top. I love Ethnic music, too - which means Orlando is a music mecca for me. I love concerts and have seen BB King, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, The Turtles, Rick Springfield, Cory Hart, The Beach boys and Heart all live in concert - OH not to mention Crosby Stills & Nash when they came to Pesnacola. I am still waiting for Elton John to come somewhere close - or Billy Joel. I didn,t realize Duran Duran recently made a tour until the US part was over. Maybe next time
