My parents have 6 grandchildren (so far) and each one has received a wooden rocking chair from them for their first Christmas.
Journaling:
For each “first” Christmas, all of the Grimsley grandchildren have received a rocking chair from Grandma and Grandpa. You were no exception. Wrapped in a box that was bigger than you were, this beautiful wooden rocking chair was your special first Christmas gift from Grandma and Grandpa. When you saw it, you immediately climbed in and beamed with excitement. Savannah was very quick to join in the fun and was proud to be big enough to rock you on her lap. Mommy and Daddy were tickled to see the two of you having so much fun together. It was a Christmas to remember!
