SHCG: Wow, this is sooooo coool!!! I just love the idea of how you did the record and the sleeve ~ how inventive :) The journaling around the guitar and the picture is great, the guitar embellies are awesome :) Great job!
shcg: beautiful. i love the journaling along the side of the guitar. the photowork is wonderful, and i love negative space, it accents what is already there!
SHCG: Another "lo" with an innovative use of the glaze (I can see all that work) that doubles as an lp sleeve. I also like the photo Ron-tage. This may be a strange suggestion, but I can see that black flying guitar rub-on loosely gone over with a white gel pen, as well as around the silhouettes of the photo. Also, the studs on the fretboard and on the pick-ups might look cool if a few of them had some added dimension, maybe with some actual brads, pearl head brads, or glitter gops. That empty rectangle also seems to scream for some text. I love that I can see the actual "lp" through the sleeve, and that you listed the bands around the guitar.
SHCG: This totally rocks and is the perfect complement to the altered LP. Your hard work with the diamond glaze swirls creates a seamless effect that looks as if it were professional manufactured. Fantastic!
SHCG: Love the journaling along the edge of the guitar. Once again, great paper choice. The diamond glaze accents is a really cool, simple yet profound touch!
the diamond glaze looks great, tracy's goofy. or blind.... LOL. i can see it. anyway i think it's what i'm looking at LOL love that big guitar. what a nice tribute to your fave guitarist.
I love the diamond glaze! You're right, can't see it well in the picture, but I bet IRL it looks great!!! I sure strained to see it! ha! Great idea to do the LO on an LP! (yes, I know what an LP is!)
Good Lordy, this ROCKS. OMG love the placement of everything, the rich colors, the GUITAR, the journaling along the guitar, the LP sleeve, the diamond glaze pattern. This is incredible!
My favorite guitarist is Ron Wood. I made a page on him using an lp and an lp sleeve. This is the sleeve. The bands he's been in are written along the side of the guitar. You can't really tell, but there's diamond glaze swirled along the whole page to sort of mimic the pattern on the guitar. The LP (which is kept in the sleeve of course) is in my gallery right before this one. (I know someone young enough is going to say "what's an lp?")
