we went to pearl harbor and i saw this lady dropping her flowers in the water. i quickly snapped this photo.. it's not my best but i wanted to capture the way i felt about that solemn memorial (hence the title).

this single word describes how i felt when we visited Pearl Harbor. i looked at all the names of the soldiers who lost their lives there. then i saw this lady--i don't know her story but i was moved by her.
