Before & After - 1st Day of School

Aden on his first day of school. The photos are a lot brighter IRL, they just scanned a little funky. Also the bottom 1/4" or so is cut off by the scan (lazy, I know ;)).

Journaling reads: As we took the five minute ride to your school, I wondered what would happen when we arrived. You did fine during the open house a few days before, hardly even noticing when Mom and Dad left for a meeting, but would you be alright now that it was time for the real thing? I could tell you were nervous (even though you insisted that only Caragol was a little nervous) and excited at the same time. You gave us a pitiful smile as we left, but there were no tears. When we came to pick you up at noon, you didn’t want to leave and asked to stay for the rest of the day! You have loved school ever since, especially your best friend, Brian, and your favorite teacher, Miss Kitty.
