Another from the Swirlydoos Passion kit before I move on to September's Bejeweled.
The house in the background was my grandfather's, then my father's. These were our neighbors, John, Cora and Ruth Cook. The picture was probably taken in the late 1930's or early 1940's. Ruth died in an accident in 1944, so I never knew her, I have some memories of "Aunt" Cora who died when I was five. "Uncle" John was our surrogate grandfather; I have very warm memories of him. I love how mother and daughter are holding hands.
The title was printed on transparency, along with the journaling that is hidden under the picture. The cut vines are a lift from Antidel's beautiful Smile and Be Happy layout.
