"Katie's Self Portrait" - age 6

Hi...

This is my daughter, Katie, at age 6. She drew her self portrait in chalk on the sidewalk!! I love this picture of her and how creative she was to draw herself with matching clothes!! She didn't have brown chalk, so she gave herself blond hair!! :)

*I crocheted the lavender frame and matching ribbon border with crochet thread.

*I used Martha Stewart's Doily Lace Punch for the scallops, then stitched thru all the tiny holes with silk ribbon.

*I used a hot fix applicator and hot fix rhinestones to make the crystal flourishes, decorate the butterflies and make the butterfly trails.

*The lacing is done in silk ribbon and I hung a tiny cross with a pink crystal on the bottom. I also put green vellum behind the lacing.

*The pretty velvety flowers are Imaginisce Bazzill Petal Pushers. Then I just added smaller white flowers and put a matching pastel brad in the center.

*Daisy D's Sweet Baby Jane Collection Printed Papers. I also used green pearlescent cardstock.

*Cricut Home Accents Cartridge for all the flourishes.

*Cricut Tear Drop Cartridge for the butterflies.

I had a great time making this layout!!
