This is the first picture taken of me after giving birth to my first child Elizabeth Grace. Elizabeth was about 45 minutes old in the photo. She had meconium in the water when I gave birth so she was taken by the neonatal time until they were sure she was fine. It was the long 45 min of my life! I kept hearing her crying and wanted to hold her so much.

I've been thinking a lot how to scrapbook this picture. I saw the time stickers in a store and the whole layout just came to me. I cut the pearl swirls from Prima in half to use with the butterflies. This is the first time I used glimmer mist. It's hard to see really in the photo but I sprayed the dark blue paper I used as a mat.

I have tiny journaling at the bottom reading "Mommy meets Elizabeth Grace for the first time. August 2, 2008 - 45 min old"
