Opening page for album I was hired to do. The entire book is for 1st year of baby's life. This page was fun to do. The large umbrella started off as a plain white diecut picked up from a LSS, covered it with two different pp's and inked the edges. Holes made w/Marvy circle punches and have stickles layered over w/photos behind. Fiber is multi colored fun fur that was stitched along bottom border of umbrella.
The title did not photograph well but has the words baby shower, those were done with sizzix embosslits pink lemonade and inked w/dew drops then popped w/foam dot adhesive. While we know what he is now, they did not know at the time of the baby shower so I went with all pastel colors. Journaling is a combo of quotes/sayings from a quote book:
Baby _______ is almost due
will we have pink?
or will we have blue?
Ten little fingers and
Ten little toes
Will it be trains and trucks?
Or ribbons and bows?
Boy or girl,
Nobody Knows!
