THIS IS WONDERFUL!!!! He actually reminds me a lot of my son in this pic, he loves playing telephone. Sweet soft colors, great pp and I love how you did the title!
Karen, you have caught a bit of the sweet naivete and innocence of childhood in this page. I LOVE it!!!First off, I especially like the soft pastels of this LO. Usually, 'boy' pages are done in tropical or primary colors which is fine, but using this color palette is actually sweeter to me. I like the pattern mix of plaid and print. The felt flowers add to the ambience of sweetness! The candid photo is a great captured moment, not a posed portrait....NICE!
LOL! That story of being kicked out of the church nursery is hilarious! You did a great job with this shot. I love his imagination with the rock! YOur choice of colors and embellishment really do a nice supporting job of your photo and the emotion it illicits.
Love, Love, Love this! The soft colors you've used are fantastic! What a great title for that wonderful picture! And all the embellishments and papers are so sweet. FAV!
Fantastic! I still have some of this paper and have used it once before - Now that another little man is on the way I might have to use it again!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh this is beautiful. I love how soft it is. It goes so well with that picture! What a sweet little face...hard to imagine him being rough! lol Very cute...I love the pp's, haven't seen those before. Great job!
I am doing a series of LOs for my sister about her three grandchildren. The last page I posted was about the newest addition to our family, Mercy Joy.
This is her big brother, Raiden. He is ALL boy! I posted a LO about him a few months ago and told how he got kicked out of the baby nursery at church for playing too rough. (He's a pastor's kid!)
He is still a very rough and tumble little guy, but as you can see in this sweet photo, he also has a very gentle, imaginative side. Here, he found a rock that he thought was a great cell phone. Notice his dirty shirt! I'm so glad that Nicole didn't let a little thing like a dirty shirt or face interrupt this great photo shoot!
I wanted to keep this page very simple and soft. I made the "buttons" on the circle frame by using two circle punches, then used my Cropadile Big Bite to punch the button holes. I used pop dots to give them some dimension on the page.
Thank you for looking! Karen
