Journaling states.

Ben was apprehensive for many years to ride his two wheeled bike. He had tried on many occasions to learn. He used training wheels yet he still was afraid to ride. When Ben was eight years old he found the courage to try it again. Dad said" That each day he needed to practice for thirty minutes." Ben practiced balance, steering, and pedaling. Each day he got better at it. As he got more experienced, he also gained more confidence.

Then six days into his practicing Dad and Ben asked me to come outside. They had something to show me. Ben got on his two wheeled yellow dirt bike and drove away. I stood in the driveway with my mouth wide open in amazement. As Ben drove past me with the look of determination on his face. I could feel a tear roll down my cheek. I was so proud of him.

Now Ben gets on the bike and rides like he had never been afraid. Ben learned a great lesson that day. He learned that practice does make perfect, and never give up.
