I like the mix between the tearing and the flourish. Pretty picture, Megan. I agree with you on 10 years of weight gain being irreversible when comparing weight between a 13 year old and a 23 year old. I think a perfect body for each of the two ages are different and should be as long as they're both healthy.
A LO about how "Body Beautiful" is emphasized in so many ways in our culture, but to each his own. There are very few people who are actually what one could term "Body Beautiful" (which is like the perfect body, not considering the face). Most people have flaws in their appearance. For me, it has to be my weight...I hate how much fat I have on my body. From the neck up, I don't feel too bad, but my Body Beautiful isn't how i look now. BUT the way I looked in this picture--this is my version of a BODY BEAUTIFUL. The perfect height, perfect weight, toned body, no double chin, white teeth, skinny arms, etc., etc., etc. But I love the look of this body, and I wish I could get it back. But the toll 10 years of bad eating and no exercise has taken, seems so irreversible.
