Journaling Reads:
You were so excited about your 7th birthday. You just knew
that it was going to be such a magical day - the day you
were no longer a little boy...but a kid. A real, honest-to-
goodness kid. You woke up telling me - you can’t call me
a little kid anymore, Mom, I’m a big kid now! I had to
reassure you that no matter how big you thought you
were getting, you’d always be my little boy who lived in
my heart. That made you happy. You had requested about
50 different kinds of birthday cakes, and had been plan-
ning each one for months, but settled on an orea cake,
minus the chocolate ganache because you thought it
would be too messy. We went to Chuck E Cheese with
the Kunz, then out to CiCi’s so that you could eat all
the pizza that you could fit into your stomach. We went
back to the house to open presents (and how sad is it
that none of us can remember what you got? Shows
you how many toys you already have and these just blend-
ded in.) This has been the year that you’ve grown, that
you took on some of your fears, that you conquered a
two bad habits, that you have blossomed in your person-
ality, and that you have begun having great conversations
and asking a ton of questions. You’re becoming one
great little man, and we love you so very much!
Happy Birthday, Beeble, and many many more!!!!
