I made this for my husband for our wedding anniversary. Twelve years today!
I have never done a LO of any of our wedding photos and it was quite difficult to choose the 'perfect pp's & colours' for my one and only LO. My dress was a creamy sort of pale butter colour so in the end although I altered the photo to B & W I decided to use the colour scheme we had for our wedding.
This was a second marriage for both of us and although we have had "those moments" from time to time I can I honestly say I still feel like he was sent to me as a reward to make up for a prior very awful & destructive relationship.
Anyway, today I think he definately wins the husband of the day award. Inside the lovely card he gave me this morning was a voucher he had made entitling me to two hours in this huge scrapbooking store that is over an hours drive from our home with an unlimited budget and then lunch or afternoon tea in a nearby cafe that I love.
I had a lovely time and my DH even helped me by matching cardstock to my PP's & even brought me selections over that he thought I may like. At one point he brought over quite a lovely piece of paper but when I turned it over and saw it was $4.50 and said oh no that's too dear, he pointed out to me that it did have stitching on it though. Bless him!
The chipboard frame is by scrapware and the title by dusty attic which were both painted black. The lamp post by scrapmatts was already black. The flowers are all prima as is the lace and I added some pearls to that. I made the little crystal stick pin that our initials are hanging from. The pp's are cosmo cricket and I think g.c.d.
Sorry for the glare on the glass and TFL.
