This was made for the Oct monochromatic challenge featuring the color brown - with a landscape picture as the twist.

I took the photo after areally nasty snow storm in March 10. My boss sent us home early so I grabbed my camera and drove the dangerous covered snowy roads like a crazy woman hoping to capture the starkness of the day. Then I ran a few photoshop textures over it. The day was so bleak that I did not even need to turn this into a B&W.

The large leaves were dipped in UTEE.
