Sorry about you daughter; I hope she heals quickly!!!!
Great page, though, with wonderful fussy cutting and tearing!!! Love the 2/3 circle, it just pops out so beautifully!!! Great embellie clusters, too!!!! (As for the wrinkling, I think it looks terrific; I say keep it and say you meant it!!!)
Thank you Natasha :) I wish we didn't live so far apart! I'd love to have you teach me some things about flowers! LOL I actually grew up right out side of Jersey, in Norristown, Pa.. small world LOL I think Peggy has some relatives in Norristown too actually...
So sorry to hear about all of your troubles. You could always say you purposely water distressed it and wrinkled it. I can't even tell from the picture. I use a craft iron to smooth out papers, but it may be difficult with your embellies already in place. Despite all of the bad news, this really is a beautiful layout!! Love the colors, the cut work and design! Hope things get better. *Hugs
I can understand your frustrations :) I think the wrinkling falls under what I would call serendipitous scrapping - where something happens by chance and adds to it all - I thought it was part of the distressed look to it. I spend a lot of time and worry trying to get my paper to look rumpled. :)
Beautiful colors and elements! I like it a lot!
For some reason everything surrounding this LO has spelled disaster. I was inspired by the "style" theme, it reminded me of my daughter always sketching out clothing with her project runway stuff. SO I decided to get some pic of her in action for this LO. Problem 1: In the midst of putting this LO together I get a call from her school- go to the hospital, she broke her arm! So, she won't be sketching any time soon- which means NO PICS until late Nov when the cast comes off! Ahhh! If that wasn't bad enough I finished this last night and racked my brain for some temp pic ideas.. Then problem 2- It rained and all my windows were open! Now the humidity has wrinkled it to all h3ll.. I'm so upset! Then if it couldnt get worse my printer ran out of ink half way through printing some temp pics.. and the the cloudy weather is making it to dark to get a good pic of the Lo.. I should just give up already.. I like how it came out though despite the rain and the temporarily missing pics.. So this is it for now..
Anyways, no one knows a trick for un-wrinkling a LO do they LOL
