Well, for "slapping" and glueing things down on a page, you are AMAZING, because the result is wonderful! Gorgeous vintage page, Lauri. Your mom will be thrilled! That photo of her on Santa's lap is priceless. honestly, what a precious pic :) Your ribbons are stunning and work perfectly with this vintage design. Love all the cutwork too. This lo is "jingling all the way" into my FAVES!!!
Another masterpiece!! There is something comforting about the vintage Christmas look. I simply love it and you have displayed it here perfectly! I know the funny story behind this pic!! And can't wait to see your comical LO version! XXOO
This really turned out great! I love all of the different elements that you used and the cream colored flowers are just perfect! Can't wait to hear the story behind the picture!
This kind of sort of not really turned out how I wanted. I may play with it some more, but for now I'm just leaving it alone. There is a funny story behind this photo of my Mom on Santa's lap, but that story will go on my next layout when I scrapbook the comical version of this photo. But this layout will go in a shadowbox for my Mom for her birthday.
This page was very easy to do. Didn't use any fancy tools, die cut machines. It was all pretty much cut and glue. I just cut out the images from the Graphic 45's Jolly Old St. Nick paper, slapped down the photo and glued on some ribbon and added some Rock Candy Stickles here & there and called it done. I ran out of foam poofy tape, but at midnight I got lazy and just glued the papers to the page. I'm thinking about getting more paper & foam tape and and adding another layer to 3d the Santa's & tree for more dimension.
